de La Balmes Military Forces

De La Balmes Military Forces are a non-profit educational organization that attempts to recreate the culture, uniforms, weapons, and camp life of the American Revolution as accurately as possible through participation in living history encampments and battle reenactments throughout the Midwest. We are affiliated with the Northwest Territory Alliance, a major sanctioning body in the Revolutionary War reenacting field.

We represent and portray de La Balme's Military Forces, a colonial militia unit which was actually raised and fought here in the Midwest.

Recreating this time period (1775-1783) is both exciting and educational. Our unit encourages and accepts membership and participation from all family members. Our present membership draws from various parts of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
